Since the beginning of the campaign against Hezbollah, the Air Force has attacked more than 2,000 targets supporting ground forces in southern Lebanon, using fighter jets, attack helicopters, and remotely piloted aircraft.
The control rooms and Air Force teams are in direct contact with the fighting forces and accompany the fighting in the various sectors, directing the forces in the field and eliminating threats with rapid closing of the circle, sometimes within a few meters of the forces.
As part of deepening inter-service cooperation, Air Force Commander, Major General Tomer Bar, conducted a situation assessment at the Northern Command, together with the commander of the command, Major General Rafi Milo.
