Syrian media outlets are publishing footage from an interview with senior Hamas figure Talal Nasser, broadcast on December 2, in which he presents a position supporting the Syrian rebels fighting Assad and the Shiites.
- "He (Talal Nasser) expressed strong support for the progress of the Syrian revolution and rejected all claims that the Syrian rebels are supported by Israeli Zionists"
- "He revealed that Hamas received $20 million in just one month from the Syrian rebels and that Hamas is in partnership with them."
It will be interesting to see what the Shiites have to say about this, as their allies in the interests of the Sunnis from Hamas are turning their backs on them when the Sunnis from Syria are fighting the Shiites and the pro-Iranian Assad regime.
