The IDF reported that after an “extensive search operation” by the police of the North District, in cooperation with military naval units, the body of 22-year-old Israel Kisos was located. Kisos was swimming in the Sea of Galilee – the Kinneret – Wednesday when he was apparently swept away by a strong gust of wind.

Hundreds of police officers, Border Police officers soldiers sailors, and volunteers worked around the clock in an attempt to locate him.

During the operation, all available means were used, including advanced technological means, a helicopter of the Israel Police Air Force, maritime police boats, jet skis, and volunteer boats.
