Following intelligence gathered in recent weeks, IDF forces carried out a targeted nighttime operation in Syria and arrested a number of Hamas terrorists, who were attempting to carry out numerous terrorist plots against citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces in Syria.

The terrorists were transferred to the country for further investigation by Unit 504.

Additionally, our forces located and confiscated weapons in the area, including firearms, cartridges, and ammunition.
