IDF Spokesperson: The first round of recruitment for the "Hashomonaim" Haredi Brigade is underway
Approximately 50 first Haredi recruits have already enlisted and will form the nucleus for establishing the first company in the brigade.
In addition, by the end of the day, the enlistment of approximately 100 Haredi who will enlist in reserve service from the Haredi sector will be completed and will begin training as 07 Rifle Infantry for approximately six months, at the end of which they will form part of the brigade's first reserve company.
