Netanyahu lands in a different Washington DC than he did not long ago. He will be the first foreign leader to meet President Trump in the White House.
Just before PM Netanyahu took off from Israel, he told reporters:
"I believe that in the meetings we will also discuss the critical issues facing us - victory over Hamas, the return of all our hostages, and dealing with the Iranian axis in all its components, an axis that also threatens the security of Israel, the Middle East, and the entire world."
