An investigation published by the Tassanim news agency states that the Mossad was able to recruit a senior official in Beirut's intelligence services to pass on information about what was happening in the country.
This morning, the Iranian news agency Tasnim published a major investigation into Israeli intelligence activity in Lebanon, with an emphasis on the successes of the Jewish state and its emissaries in the field of cyber and the recruitment of agents on social networks.
The investigation, which apparently originated inside an Lebanese intelligence service, claimed that Israel had recruited a "very close source to the commander of the intelligence organization" and that this was revealed following the arrest of a large spy network, composed mostly of young people active in Palestinian organizations, late last year.
