The Yemeni National Resistance Forces, led by Brigadier General Tareq Saleh, announced the interception of a major arms shipment allegedly headed for the Houthi terrorists. The operation, carried out in a coastal region under Resistance control, targeted a vessel suspected of smuggling advanced weapons into Yemen.
According to the statement released by the Resistance, the seized cargo included approximately 750 tons of weaponry, including Iranian-origin missiles and various other military systems. The shipment is believed to have been part of Iran’s continued effort to arm the Houthis, in violation of international embargoes and regional security agreements.
This interception marks a significant blow to Houthi supply lines and highlights the ongoing role of Tareq Saleh’s forces in countering Iranian influence in Yemen. The Yemeni National Resistance vowed to continue its efforts to secure the country’s coasts and prevent further smuggling of arms to terrorist groups.
