Sedra responded bluntly, stating: “That is a lie,” and emphasized that Israel remains the only country in the region where Christians enjoy full religious freedom, legal protection, and open worship without fear.

Drawing on lived experience in Egypt and across the Middle East, Sedra underscored that Christians in Arab and Islamic states often face discrimination, intimidation, and violence—conditions fundamentally different from life in Israel, where Christian communities are growing, protected by law, and integrated into public life.
