Lebanese MP Elias Hankach said on a November 15, 2023 show on LBC TV (Lebanon) that the Lebanese army and UNIFIL should control the border with Israel, following UN Resolution 1701.
He said that the biggest dream Lebanese people have is a steady supply of electricity, running water, and security. Hankach said that Lebanon wants a two-state solution for Palestine following the resolution of the 2002 Arab Summit, not destruction and killing.
