Givati fighters eliminated armed Hezbollah terrorists who approached the forces in southern Lebanon.
Fighters from the Givati Brigade, under the command of Division 91, identified armed Hezbollah terrorists on Wednesday. In a quick closing of the circle, the forces fired on the Air Force forces, who eliminated the terrorists.
In additional activity in the area, brigade forces located numerous weapons, including long weapons, RPG missiles, cartridges and combat equipment intended for use against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel.
The IDF will continue to act forcefully against the terrorist organization Hezbollah, which has decided to join the campaign and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime, and will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel and residents of the north in particular.
