The exercise was carried out in cooperation with various security forces and local authorities.
The commander of the division, BG Oren Simcha, held a discussion with the regular and reserve soldiers at the end of the exercise, highlighting their dedication and drive that made the establishment possible.
The Commander of the Central Command, MG Avi Bluth, summarized the division-level exercise: “Operation 'Rising Lion' was, for us, an excellent opportunity to expedite the establishment. Remember, success is defined as an opportunity that meets capability.
Here, there was a great opportunity, and it was met with tremendous motivation from people in mandatory service, career personnel, and reservists, along with very high capability. You recognized the gravity of the moment and also understood the operational necessity, and you acted accordingly.
I wish to express my deep appreciation to everyone.”
