VIDEO NEWS: Amsterdam to remove Chinese surveillance cameras

The municipality of Amsterdam in the Netherlands has announced that it will remove surveillance cameras manufactured by Chinese companies.

The reason: Concerns about surveillance activities, espionage and the manufacturers' involvement in human rights violations.

According to the plan, about 1,300 Chinese-made surveillance cameras installed throughout the city will be replaced within 5 years.
