George Simion voiced support for the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria during a meeting with Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan.
Romanian presidential frontrunner George Simion met with Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan and issued a joint statement expressing clear support for the communities of Judea and Samaria and for the shared fight against terrorism.
Simion told Dagan that Judea and Samaria are important to Romania and praised the local residents. The two have maintained close ties for the past four years. According to current polls, Simion is expected to win the presidential election, which is likely to be held in November.
The meeting follows Dagan’s talks last month with Slovenia’s new prime minister, Janez Janša, who also sent his support to the residents of Judea and Samaria.
