Nasrallah issued in his televised speech last night (Thursday) a warning regarding drilling in Lebanese waters, speaking on the background of news that Israel has shipped its first-ever cargo of crude oil from the Karish offshore field, saying that if Lebanon finds out it has been taken advantage of it won’t hesitate to stop Israel from continuing to drill in Karish.
NEWSRAEL: Nasrallah, like all dictators, needs to give speeches to his people in order to control the narrative he wants.
In this speech, he needs subject that constitute a threat to his people.
The issue of the Gas fields of Karish seemed to have been resolved in negotiations, but Nasrallah wants to rekindle this to show his people they are "threatened" by the enemy - Israel.
