Is Iran threatening to assassinate Israeli leaders?

Is Iran hinting that it will retaliate for the elimination of Hamas leader Haniyeh with the elimination of an Israeli senior official and not by launching missiles at it?

Official media on Tuesday quoted the spokesman of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Ali Mohammad Naini, as saying that the waiting period for Iran's response to Israel may be long.

Naini said: "Time plays in our favor and the waiting period for this response may be long", referring to revenge against Israel.

He added that Israel must wait for a calculated and precise response.
