We will continue operating until Hezbollah’s terror capabilities are dismantled and they no longer pose a threat to our people.
We never left southern Lebanon. The Iranian regime kept funding, and they kept building.
Their infrastructure remains embedded kilometers from Israel's northern border. Missiles, headquarters, terrorist training camps, and tunnels. This was not supposed to happen.
A ceasefire agreement was signed in November 2024, which required the Lebanese armed forces to dismantle all of the terrorist infrastructure that threatened our civilians.
Instead, Hezbollah was left to rearm. They joined the Iranian regime in its attacks against Israel, and their infrastructure and control within Lebanese communities has grown.
The IDF will continue our mission to complete what the Lebanese armed forces were meant to do.
Ensure that Hezbollah can no longer pose a threat to the civilians of Israel and the Lebanese population.
