Freed hostage Alon Ohel performed at his Plays for Life concert in Tel Aviv, dedicating a song to Eli Sharabi, whom he credits with helping him survive captivity

MOVING: During his “Alon Plays Life” concert, former hostage Alon Ohel dedicated a song to his fellow captive, Eli Sharabi.

Alon and Eli survived captivity together in Hamas tunnels. When Eli was released after a year and a half, Alon was left behind. He endured months alone, holding on to Eli’s words and wisdom to stay alive.

Today, both are free, learning how to live again. And Alon’s dream has come true, he is now playing for the world to hear.
