The commander of the American Air Forces in the Pacific sector, General Kenneth Wilsbach, clarified that the Chinese J-20 stealth aircraft are "not something to lose much sleep over".
He also said that American 5th generation aircraft had "a number of close encounters recently" with the Chinese aircraft because "we learned A lot of it" and that "it's not something I'm too worried about."
The Air Force commander, General Charles Brown expressed a similar position: "When I think about our existing capability as an air force, I also think about the next generation of superiority. We want to ensure that we maintain the advantage. "I am not losing sleep over the J-20, but if we do not modernize, then there is a chance of losing sleep."
