Forces of Brigade 300 under the command of Division 146 are operating in the southern Lebanon area as part of the forward defense operation.

As part of the operation, the forces identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell entering a checkpoint in a Christian village located in southern Lebanon. The ground forces targeted an Air Force fighter jet that attacked and eliminated the terrorist cell.

The presence of terrorists in the village area is another example of Hezbollah's cynical exploitation of civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes.
