Germany captures, convicts far-Left fugitive of over 30 years

Former far-left Red Army Faction (RAF) terrorist Daniela Klette was sentenced to 13 years in prison

She had been hiding for over 30 years.

A German court has sentenced 67-year-old Daniela Klette to 13 years behind bars for a series of serious crimes, including armed robberies and extortionate kidnapping.

Klette, a former member of the far-left terrorist group RAF (Red Army Faction), had been on the run for over 30 years. She was arrested in Berlin in February 2024.
