Following the Israeli strike in Doha, Qatar is working to rally Gulf and Arab states into a political-diplomatic confrontation with Israel. 

By portraying Israel as a threat not only to Gaza and the Shiite axis but to the entire Arab world, Doha seeks to expand the conflict and undermine the Abraham Accords. At the recent Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit, Qatar framed the attack as an assault on all Gulf states, attempting to bind them into a collective stand against Israel.
