December 2, 2024: The Washington Kurdish Institute (WKI) unequivocally condemns the recent attacks perpetrated by various terrorist factions, supported by Turkey, against the Kurdish population in Aleppo and its surrounding countryside.
Approximately 300,000 Kurds, displaced by Turkey’s invasion of Afrin in 2018, now face a dire situation, besieged and expelled by radical Syrian groups backed by Turkey. These groups are exploiting the ongoing conflict between the Syrian regime and al-Qaeda affiliates in Aleppo to further their agenda.

The Arabization of Afrin backed by Turkey continues to this day.
But don’t expect to hear pro-Palestinian activists condemn this war crime because it doesn’t fit their narrative.
Just for you to understand: Turkey, that country which condemns Israel every week, ethnically cleansed 300K Kurds and replaced them with Palestinians - but NOW condemns President Trump plan to remove the same Palestinians to Arab countries!
