During the operation, the soldiers, in coordination with elite Yahalom combat engineers, located and destroyed a major underground tunnel route stretching approximately 3.5 kilometers. The route contained multiple tunnels and rooms used by terrorists for shelter.

The troops also demolished a terror infrastructure site storing explosives intended for use against Israeli forces. Additional weapons were found in the area.
