Bangledesh has experienced a recent spate of vicious “attacks on dozens of Hindu temples and the deaths of at least seven people” by Muslims. But it’s not new.
It’s a familiar picture everywhere: attack infidels, strike terror into them with the goal of subjugation and of establishing (or maintaining) the supremacy of the Sharia everywhere, as is well documented in the Quran and Hadiths. So now, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists have joined in unity in Bangladesh to call for greater protection of religious minorities.
Religious rights and freedoms are absent for non-Muslim in mainstream Islamic law, so the more religious any area becomes under Islam, the more oppressive it becomes for minorities.
“Bangladeshi Christians join calls for greater protection for religious minorities”, Barnabus Fund, November 2, 2021:
Christians joined Hindus and Buddhists in calling for greater protection for religious minorities in Bangladesh following attacks on dozens of Hindu temples and the deaths of at least seven people during days of clashes involving radical Muslims.
The Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, which brings together the country’s religious minorities, took part in a 12-hour hunger strike and rally in Dhaka on 23 October urging the government to set up an independent commission of inquiry into the violence. It also called for greater participation of minority representatives in the government.
