Iran accepts responsibility for launching ballistic missiles from its territory both to the capital of the Kurdish region in northern Iraq, Erbil, and to the city of Aleppo in northern Syria (which was initially reported as an Israeli attack). 

It is claimed that this is a response to the deadly attack in the city of Kerman in western Iran.

The Iranians say that they attacked "Mossad" and "CIA" sites in Ebril, while the Americans say that no Americans were harmed. 

The Iraqis say that a prominent businessman and his four family members were killed.
