Israeli-Canadian company Beyond Oil has reached a major milestone in its global expansion efforts with the completion of its first shipment under a strategic distribution agreement with New York-based Latitude, a leader in food logistics, import, and distribution.
The shipment, totaling 10.8 tons of the company's flagship product, marks the initial step in executing a deal expected to generate over $8.3 million in revenue in 2025.
The partnership with Latitude is part of Beyond Oil’s broader strategy to penetrate the U.S. food service market — one of the most competitive and demanding worldwide. According to Beyond Oil CEO Jonathan Or, “This first shipment marks a significant step in fulfilling our shared vision for transforming the American food service industry. The collaboration highlights Latitude’s logistics and distribution expertise, which will be critical in expanding our footprint across the United States.”
Beyond Oil has developed a unique, FDA-approved food-tech formula that addresses a global health and environmental concern: the repeated use of frying oil in commercial kitchens. This common practice, often involving using the same oil for several days, can produce harmful compounds linked to cancer, heart disease, and other serious health conditions.
The company's solution offers a groundbreaking way to reduce the health risks faced by kitchen staff and consumers alike, ensuring safer food preparation environments in restaurants, catering services, hotels, and institutional kitchens. By using Beyond Oil’s formula, food establishments can not only extend the lifespan of their frying oil and lower operational costs, but also significantly improve food quality and reduce their environmental impact.
Scientific studies conducted by the company and independent laboratories have shown that the formula dramatically reduces the presence of toxic compounds created during frying. This results in cleaner oil, healthier food, and safer working conditions — an especially important factor for kitchen workers who are continuously exposed to hazardous fumes, as well as for diners consuming fried food regularly.
The launch of U.S. operations joins a series of global achievements for Beyond Oil in recent months, including a strategic agreement with FollowFood in France, a $5 million deal with T&J Oil in Australia (which includes the establishment of a dedicated training center), and a new distribution agreement in Mexico. The company also strengthened its U.S. leadership team by appointing a former executive from food giant Sysco as its U.S. Sales Director.
Thanks to its partnerships with well-established local distributors, Beyond Oil can maintain operational efficiency while focusing on business development and product innovation. The company already serves as a certified supplier to a major Eastern European fast-food chain with over 1,000 locations, and a preferred vendor for Sus Hi Eatstation in the United States.
As Beyond Oil continues to expand globally, its health-oriented approach and patented technology position it as a key player in the future of safe and sustainable frying solutions — protecting not only the taste of food, but the health and well-being of those who prepare and consume it.
