WATCH: First Time in History – Chanukah Menorah Lit in Knesset Plenum

For the first time in history, the menorah was lit on Chanukah at the Knesset Plenum on Tuesday.

Attending were MKs along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Speaker of the Knesset MK Amir Ohana (Likud).

Ohana said: “We light these candles in a shared prayer for the return of all hostages, for the soldiers to come home safe and sound in body and spirit, for the return of the evacuees to their homes, and for the speedy recovery of all the wounded.”
