BREAKING: IDF announces the death of Capt. Daniel Peretz, who fell on October 7, 2023

Capt. Daniel Shimon Peretz, Mid Binyamin, platoon commander in the 77th Battalion, Assault Formation from the Golan, an IDF soldier kidnapped by a terrorist organization, 22 years old.

His family has been notified.

He was promoted from the rank of lieutenant to the rank of captain after his death.

The IDF shares in the family's grief and will continue to accompany it.
