An undercover Border Police unit eliminated two terrorists and wounded three others in Silwan after identifying an immediate threat to Israeli forces.
Israeli Border Police undercover fighters operated on Thursday in the village of Silwan in east Jerusalem, where they identified five terrorists who posed a real and immediate danger to the force. Following a rapid assessment on the ground, unit snipers opened precise fire at the cell, eliminating two terrorists at the scene and wounding three others.
One of the wounded terrorists was reported to be in critical condition. The operation ended without any Israeli casualties, and all of the fighters returned safely. The incident once again highlighted the readiness and precision of Israel’s elite Border Police units operating in Jerusalem to stop threats before they can strike.
