A senior Hamas terrorist commander involved in rebuilding and manufacturing weapons was targeted in a joint IDF–Shin Bet strike in Gaza City.
In a joint statement, the IDF and the Shin Bet confirmed the targeted strike against a central terrorist in the Hamas terror organization who, in recent weeks, had been actively involved in efforts to restore and produce weapons for the group.
The terrorist, identified as Ra'sd Saad, had previously evaded an assassination attempt earlier in the war and in the past commanded Nukhba units. He was reportedly eliminated when fighter jets fired three missiles at his vehicle in Gaza City. The strike resulted in four terrorists killed and around ten additional casualties.
Saad is one of the veterans of Hamas's military wing and until a few years ago was the head of the operations department.
