They apparently provide security, and the residents trust them, but in one moment - they are able to execute people, on charges of treason, on charges of collaboration, on charges of heresy in Islam - in the blink of the eye, in a field trial. 

This resident of Rafah says that Hamas attacked the Ibn Tima mosque with heavy fire from four directions. Some of the people were killed in the mosque. 

Some of the people were killed by a shot in the head while they were waiting for an ambulance at the gate of the mosque, some of the people were killed inside the ambulances, sometimes on the threshold of the entrance gate to the hospital and some of the people were killed in the hospitals.
