WATCH: Iraqi Shi'ite scholar: Only Shi'ites will enter paradise – all others will go to hell

Iraqi Shiite Islamic scholar Abu Habib Al‑Safi said in a July 23, 2025 appearance on Alsumaria TV (Iraq) that only Shiites, who have allegiance to Ali ibn Abi Talib, will go to Paradise.

When the interviewer asked him whether this means that 1.5 billion Sunni Muslims will go to Hell, Al‑Safi replied, "What can we do?"

Interviewer: "There is a video circulating where you say that Paradise awaits only for a certain sect..."

Abu Habib Al Safi: "Yes."
