Tens of thousands of people gathered Sunday on Manhattanโs iconic Fifth Avenue to take part in the annual Israel Day Parade.
With more than 40,000 marchers, this year’s event was marked by an outpouring of pride, unity, and unwavering support for the State of Israel amid ongoing regional tensions and rising antisemitism worldwide.
Participants from across the United States and abroad waved Israeli and American flags, sang Hebrew songs, and showcased cultural performances as they marched up the avenue. Community leaders, elected officials, and prominent Jewish organizations joined the parade to celebrate Israel’s rich heritage and its 76th year of independence.
But this year’s celebration also carried a deeper message. Many marchers held signs demanding the release of Israeli hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza, turning the festive parade into a powerful call for justice and remembrance. The event served as both a joyful display of Jewish solidarity and a resolute stand against terror and hatred.
