The "Yesh Atid" and Prime Minister Lapid deny involvement in the split of the joint list, and  said "we have no idea who is spreading this nonsense or why." 

The joint list fell apart on Thursday evening, just before the closing of the lists for the Knesset when Balad submitted its list separately from Hadash-Ta'al.

Newsrael: In an interview Friday, Balad chairman Sami Abou Shahadeh claimed the heads of Hadash and Ta’al broke their agreement at the last minute, forcing his party to run alone while accusing Lapid of orchestrating the move.
