BREAKING: Iran fires missile at ship in Strait of Hormuz

Iran has reportedly launched a missile toward a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, triggering an advance warning in the United Arab Emirates after missile activity was detected.

A short time ago, authorities in the UAE received an alert following the detection of missiles in the region. After an initial investigation, it was determined that the launch was not aimed at UAE territory, but at a ship moving through the Strait of Hormuz.

The incident marks a dangerous escalation in one of the world’s most sensitive maritime chokepoints, where any Iranian attack on shipping threatens regional stability, global energy routes and freedom of navigation.
