There have been repeated assaults on Jewish farmers at Susya on the road between the settlement and the Susya archeological site
The attack was carried out by a Palestinian man living near this area. The boys who were on their way to the Susya site with a flock of sheep were attacked with stones and one of the boys was injured after the attacker hit him in the head with a large stone. The attacker fled the scene and the farmers were evacuated independently to the settlement, the boy who was hit in the head needed medical treatment.
These are recurring incidents in this area where passers-by are disturbed by rock throwing.
In a targeted operation by the Israel Police in cooperation with the Judea Brigade Intelligence and the 6646th Battalion, the attacker was arrested on Sunday (20.2.22) after he had a haircut and shaved in an attempt to hide his identity, and was transferred for further investigation and treatment by security forces.
