IDF Spokesperson: The Chief of Staff conducted a situation assessment with senior commanders and troops in the field on the Lebanese border.
The Chief of the General Staff, Maj. Gen. Eyal Zamir, today (Sunday) held an assessment of the situation on the Lebanese border ahead of the holidays with the Commander of the Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Uri Gordin, the Commander of the 91st Division, Maj. Gen. Yuval Gez, and other commanders.
As part of the visit, the Chief of Staff met with the commanders operating in the sector, both regular and reserve, and expressed his appreciation. He was then presented with the operational plans for the future, both in defense and offense.
From the Chief of Staff: "We continue the campaign to strengthen the defense while showing initiative and offensiveness. To our reservists - if there is anything wonderful in the people of Israel, it is you. We will do everything to strengthen the reserve system in all contexts. The people continue to stand up thanks to your leadership - the commanders."
