Arab media reports reveal growing internal disputes within the Iran-led “axis of resistance” following heavy setbacks in Gaza, Lebanon, and beyond.
Arab media reported this morning on escalating disputes among members and supporters of the Iran-led “axis of resistance,” following a series of defeats and blows suffered in Lebanon, Gaza, and other arenas.
One controversy erupted after remarks by senior Hamas official Khaled Mashaal, who said the terrorist organization had never tied its fate exclusively to any single axis and had always remained open to relations with Arab and Islamic states. His comments sparked anger and criticism, particularly from supporters of the former Assad regime.
According to the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, a more serious argument took place inside the Gaza Strip itself. The debate reportedly occurred during informal meetings involving representatives of several terrorist organizations.
