Chinese Vice President Han Zheng says Beijing and Moscow are working together to reshape global governance and strengthen multilateral cooperation.
Speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Han Zheng said China and Russia are cooperating through the Global Governance Initiative and their joint declaration on building a “multipolar world order” and a new model of international relations.
Han said Beijing would work with Moscow to create what he described as a “more just and rational system of global governance,” while promoting the central principles of multilateralism and “equal benefit-sharing.”
He also called for international institutions to more fully reflect the demands of individual nations, signaling China and Russia’s continued effort to reduce Western influence over the existing global system.
