If you ever needed a reminder of the kindness permeating Israeli society, this post from a lone soldier will do it. As you can see above, the soldier posted on a local Facebook group, asking if there is anyone in Jerusalem whose piano he can play, as he doesn’t have access to a personal one.
Brief explainer: A lone soldier is an IDF soldier who has no parents in Israel to support them during their military service. They are often soldiers from overseas, but they could also be, for example, an Israeli who is estranged from their parents.
