MK Ze'ev Elkin, who was one of the founders of the Israeli-Russian alliance, and the chairman of the Foreign and Security Committee from the Likud Yuli Edelstein held a meeting of sympathy and support with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, last night in Kiev.
At the end of the meeting, they issued a statement calling on the government to lift the embargo on a weapons system for Ukraine and provide it with "Israeli technologies, including military ones, that can help protect the civilian population, its (Ukraine's) freedom and independence, as well as practical cooperation between Israel and Ukraine in the field of air defense and defense against missiles".
Elkin and Edelstein also say, "There are moments in world history when it is impossible to sit on two chairs. Truth and justice always win, and we have no doubt whose side they are on. That is why we are here with you today."
