Syrian reports indicate renewed fighting in the southern province of As-Suwayda between jihadist forces loyal to Ahmed al-Sharaa and the Druze National Guard.
According to Druze sources, forces aligned with al-Sharaa launched a ground offensive in violation of a ceasefire, advancing toward Druze-controlled areas. Reports also state that heavy weapons fire is targeting the outskirts of As-Suwayda, a city that has reportedly been under prolonged siege by regime forces for nearly 300 days.
