An overwhelming majority (84%) oppose the recognition of Israel for "political reasons" more than religious and cultural.
In Saudi Arabia, 38% answered that they oppose recognition of Israel, while the majority (57%) answered "don't know".
84% of all those surveyed answered that Israel's policy is a threat to the region.
In internal affairs, 87% agreed that their country has corruption to one degree or another.
The degree of trust in government institutions is low, with only 47% expressing support for the parliaments in their country.
The survey was conducted by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies based in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
