Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, and who is said to be very close to Putin, says Moscow would choose nuclear war over accepting Western domination, while urging Russia and China to give Iran “maximum assistance.”
Senior Russian intellectual Alexander Dugin declared that Russia would use strategic nuclear weapons if the West attempted to impose a unipolar world under its control.
Speaking in an interview with Russia’s Sputnik Radio, Dugin said President Vladimir Putin had made the choice clear: Either a multipolar world in which Russia remains sovereign, or “no world at all.” He warned that Moscow would risk bringing humanity to the brink of destruction rather than accept Western hegemony.
Dugin also praised Iran, claiming it had proven itself to be an independent global power and demonstrated the status of a superpower. He called on Russia and China to provide Tehran with “maximum assistance,” adding that Moscow was already taking steps in that direction.
