Today (Tuesday) an exercise of the naval arm was held for the first time with the Fifth Fleet of the US Army. During the defense, rescue and rescue scenarios and other scenarios were performed. All this, while working together between the fleets, is operational, the main purpose of which is joint learning and strengthening the connection between the fleets.

The cooperation between the fleets is intended to strengthen security, including maintaining maritime trade routes for the sake of regional stability.

From the words of the head of the Sea Shipyard, Brigadier General Daniel Hagri: "The partnership with the Fifth Fleet is a strategic partnership for the security of the region and the security of Israel. This exercise is the beginning of a cooperation that will expand and increase the circles of defense and security in the maritime space to prevent terrorist acts."
