An industrial area for Gazans in the envelope?

A Palestinian source claims that Israel informed the Palestinian side that it was working to establish an industrial zone in the Gaza Strip. The remarks were made during a meeting at the Erez crossing last week, according to the Palestinian news agency Sama.
According to the report, work is underway to establish an industrial zone to absorb 10,000 workers from the Gaza Strip. It also shows that starting this September, work permits will be issued to Gazans that will guarantee the employee's rights to the employer, unlike the current situation where permits are defined as "economic needs" and Palestinians complain that they are not granted full status.
