An IDF female soldier, the late Sergeant Lia Bin Nun and another IDF soldier were killed today by a terrorist during a routine operational activity in the area of the Faran Brigade
IDF Spokesman: In the early hours of the morning, an IDF female soldier, the late Sergeant Lia Ben Nun, and another IDF soldier, were killed by sniper fire, during ongoing operational activity at a military position in the Faran Brigade area on the Egyptian border.
The late Sergeant Lia Bin Nun, 19 years old from Rishon Lezion, a border infantry fighter in the Cheetah Battalion. The fighter was promoted from the rank of corporal to the rank of sergeant after her death.
An announcement on the details of an IDF soldier who was killed during the operation will be provided later.
