Former PM Bennett met with the President of UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ziad

The two met for several hours at the president's palace in Abu Dhabi.

According to a statement from Bennett's office, the two discussed strengthening cooperation between the two countries, especially in this complex period. 

It was stated in the announcement that during the day former Prime Minister Bennett held a series of five meetings with the heads of the Emirati administration and economy, among others with Sheikh Khaldoun Al Mubarak, CEO of Mubadala, and Sheikh Hamad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, in order to to continue the momentum of action of the two countries.

NEWSRAEL: This meeting, while maybe seeming strange was important, and could not have been held without the knowledge andagreement of PM Netanyahu. In fact, it may have been in order to ready a meeting with Netanyahu himself with the President.
