Oman is a small Arab country located in the south east region of the Arab Peninsula. Sultan Qaboos passed away in January 2020, leaving his successor Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said to take over the country. 

Two weeks ago, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid had a political dialogue with Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi to discuss the potential for peace and normalization agreements.
